
Nikolaj Schultz, PhD in Sociology from University of Copenhagen, is Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Social Theory and Ecological Thought at Aarhus School of Architecture, and Associate Researcher at the École Urbain at Sciences Po, Paris. His research broadly focuses on the consequences of climate change for social theory.
He is co-author On the Emergence of an Ecological Class with Bruno Latour (Polity Books, 2022), and author of Land Sickness (Polity Books, 2023). He is currently working on a new book on what he terms ‘climatic fragmentations'.
