Founded in 2025 and commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport, PART International Art Residency Austria is conceived as a new residence programme for artistic research, interdisciplinary discourse and transnational cooperation, located in the south pavilion. Artists, curators, and theorists from around the world are invited to deepen their engagement with the social, political and ecological questions of our time. To be PART of means to open up and get involved with others, with contexts, with oneself.

Our Advisory Board provides strategic guidance, supporting the programme’s direction and priorities. It strengthens international networks, and offers input on themes, partnerships, and public activities. The board also contributes to evaluation and quality development, while serving as an ambassador for the programme.
