Dorottya Vékony (HU)

June - October 2025

Dorottya Vékony (b. 1985) is an artist and researcher whose practice explores how female bodies and reproductive normativities are shaped, regulated, and governed by technologies, rituals, and social expectations.+

At PART, Dorottya continues her investigation into the body as both a site of care and a space of resistance. Her current project focuses on performative, community-based rituals rooted in movement, presence, and gestures of collective healing. These embodied practices address the silent challenges of reproduction and explore how care and resistance intersect, especially for women and marginalized communities navigating systemic crisis, violence, or exclusion.
