Joshua Leon (b. 1990) is an artist, author, and educator based in London. His practice develops a theory of collapse while organising Archive Inferno, a nomadic independent study program – both projects driven by the desire to create a poetics of history.
During his time at PART, Joshua continued research into the relationship between migraines, memory, and colour. This ongoing inquiry informs his broader artistic practice, which explores intersections of sensory experience and perception. The residency supported the development of a new work in preparation for his forthcoming solo exhibition at South Parade Gallery, London, this October.
Joshua Leon‘s works are at Kunshalle Karlsplatz in the frame of the exhibition ‚Burn The Diaries, Read Them Out Loud‘, curated by Gina Merz and can be seen until 19th of October.
