Seymour Polatin (US)

Seymour Polatin (b. 1993) is a curator and writer based in Los Angeles. His work focuses on developing unique relationships between artworks and their place of exhibition. Since 2023, he is the Exhibitions and Programs Manager at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture and curates the Garage Exchange Vienna—Los Angeles exhibition series, which seeks to foster relationships, conversations, and collaborations in the arts between Los Angeles and Austria. He is the founder of exhibition space Gallery1993 and Ant, a publication distributed via mail. His work has been featured in Artforum, The Guardian, and Garage Magazine.

At PART, Seymour will keep building his existing connections with Vienna-based artists, will meet and work with local artists aiming to produce an exhibition intervention in the city that seamlessly connects the architecture, artwork, and experience of the viewer.
