Zsófia Szonja Illés is a multidisciplinary artist and designer with an environmentally and socially engaged practice. She is a land researcher at IASK (Kőszeg, Hungary) and at the Moholy-Nagy University ofDesign in Budapest, where she is currently completing her PhD in artistic research, exploring the potential of artistic and sensory methods towards understanding and communicating tacit and local ecological knowledge on flood landscapes.

At PART, Zsófia will continue her research across art, design and architecture to create work that is socially and environmentally driven.
